Mike Matuszewski Joins the CCSI Team

Mike Matuszewski has joined the CCSI team in the role of Associate Technical Director. Mike is currently with the University of Pittsburgh serving as Director of External Relationships for the Chemical Engineering Department.  He also serves as a Chemical Engineering Lecturer for Process Control and Plant Design Courses, which includes systems engineering and optimization theory.  Mike holds a Masters of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and will finish his PhD in Process Systems Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University in 2016. He previously worked for DOE NETL, his last federal role serving as the Technology Manager for the Carbon Capture Program. His federal and academic background developed his experience with carbon capture technologies and the modeling capabilities of CCSI.  Mike will be responsible for leading the CCSI project into the next phase of work focusing on teaming with external industrial partners.
