CCSI Releases Updated Tools on May 3, 2016

The Carbon Capture Simulation Initiative (CCSI) project released a minor update of the CCSI Toolset on May 3, 2016. The tools are available for download from https://www.acceleratecarboncapture.org/current-product-list for those entities with an active license. The product bundles that were updated include:

FOQUS Bundle:

  • TurbineLite now supports gPROMs
  • Simpler installation
  • Improved validation of simulation input files
  • Added Aspen ACM and AspenPlus visibility through Turbine Web API

DMFServer:

  • Now available as a stand-alone bundle
  • Updated to include dedicated data models to support basic data

SimSinter:

  • Launches a new set of features for DMF integration, data provenance, and repeatability
  • Designer can now specify which simulator version to use and specify additional required files
  • Every input file now also has a SHA1 hash so that file changes can be automatically tracked
  • Improvements were made to the SinterConfigGUI, including additional hot-keys and more coherent resizing behavior

ALAMO Tools:

  • Eliminated R2 cross validation
  • Added builder and solvemip options

Basic Data Fitting Tools:

SorbentFit:

  • Includes Fixed Bed Model
  • Improved format for storing optimization result files
  • Documentation improvements
